The first half focuses on core and pelvic muscles with a gentle vinyasa, perfect for beginners and postpartum moms. The second half includes restorative poses for deep relaxation, with variations to suit all levels. Jacque
Founder, Movement Teacher, Doula
Jacque is a vibrant Afro-Indigenous woman hailing from Brazil! Originally studying Social Sciences, her path took a twist when she discovered a passion for body movement and healing. Her journey led her to Medellin, Colombia, where in 2015, she began sharing the gift of prenatal yoga. Fascinated by natural health methods, Jacque immersed herself in ancestral wisdom, honoring her lineage. As the founder of Doula Mami Moon, Jacque is deeply committed to serving the DMV community. Her unique blend of traditional knowledge and modern practices brings a holistic approach to wellness.
A good listener, calm and creative problem solving. Culturally informed, she speaks 3 languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English. Jacque is a kind and warm professional so expect to be respected, supported and educated through your postpartum journey.
